DESCRIPTION
In 1961, Patek Philippe introduced the ref. 3445, marking a significant milestone as the first self-winding wristwatch with a date function to be produced in series by the esteemed firm.
Throughout its production run from 1961 to 1981, the ref. 3445 was released in three distinct series, available in all four precious metals. While the design of the first and second series remained largely unchanged, the third series showcased a higher bezel, an upgraded sapphire crystal, and a display caseback.
This particular Patek Philippe Ref. 3445 in rose gold from 1964 belongs to the first series.
