Unquestionably one of Patek Philippe's most recognizable grand complications is the reference 3940; an emblematic perpetual calendar that stands out for its timeless beauty. When it was introduced in 1984, it was the slimmest automatic perpetual calendar wristwatch and replaced the reference 3450.
The present example is fitted with an Italian-language calendar, a detail that enhances its rarity and appeal to collectors.
Serviced by Patek Philippe earlier this year and completed in July. The case is now free of hairlines, scratches, or dents—restored to pristine condition and ready to be worn with confidence.
