DESCRIPTION

Patek Philippe introduced this rich blue Grand Feu enamel dial for the 5370 Split-Seconds Chronograph back in 2020. Originally unveiled in 2015 with a black enamel dial, the 5370P established itself as one of the most refined modern chronographs in the brand’s lineup. The latest version retains the same 41 mm platinum case, balanced proportions, sapphire display back (with a solid caseback option), and understated elegance that define the model.

Looping back to the dial, the blue execution is particularly striking: a deep, glossy tone achieved through painstaking Grand Feu enamel work by Patek Philippe. This traditional technique explains the “Email” inscription on the dial—French for enamel. The Breguet numerals and leaf-shaped hands are crafted in white gold, adding contrast and refinement. While both dial versions have their appeal, the blue brings a different character—arguably more expressive—while still perfectly suited to the watch’s classical design language.

Inside beats the hand-wound CHR 29-525 PS caliber, a highly sophisticated split-seconds chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and horizontal clutch. Delivering a 65-hour power reserve, it is also distinguished by its meticulous finishing and thoughtful engineering for the rattrapante function.

Overall, the 5370P remains an exceptionally rare collector’s piece, blending traditional craftsmanship, high complication watchmaking, and timeless design—an expression of Patek Philippe at its most refined and technically ambitious.
